Standard Registered Guest Status
Registered Guests at IACFB are those who have the ability to access areas of content on a short-term basis, often due to a temporary subscription. Registered Guest status includes two areas
- Registered Guest status at the Academy’s Learning Lab (30 Days)
- Registered Guest status at Commercial Finance Consultants magazine (10 days)
In both cases, Registered Guest status is provided to subscribers of IACFB’s Factoring 101 Broker’s Training Guide.
Registered Guests are simply temporary IACFB members with special privileges at the Academy and the magazine. They have between 10-30 days to view all of the Campus Courses and Lessons in the Learning Lab at the Academy (30 days) as well as “Member Only” archive areas at the magazine (10 days). Once finished with their “basic training”, most Registered Guest will then opt to continue with their IACFB full membership through the subscription with DataMax for hosting, a website/web page, or both.

How to Locate a Sponsoring Factor or CFC
Locating a factor that will sponsor you to the Academy or CFC (Commercial Finance Consultant) is relatively easy if you choose to access this venue. You can..
- Advertise your “interest” in working with an IACFB partnering factor or CFC (Commercial Finance Consultant) in the IACFB’s LinkedIn Group/Forums.
- Use the IACFB’s Lender Directories to locate factors displaying the Blue Logo Checkmark advertising for new referrers and brokers.
NOTE: Many factors will require that you sign up as a “referrer” with them and them only to benefit from their support with website discounts, etc. Additionally, most CFC Commercial Finance Consultants require that you work with them “exclusively” as well. If your intent is to enter the industry as a “freelance professional consultant”, you are typically better to simply subscribe to the Factoring Brokers Training Guide and then enter the PAL Program at IACFB. You still have the complete ability to work with any of our factors at any time based on your personal options.
